This sweet couple are on the edge of the world looking out. He stands behind her--she is perched with her feet dangling in space. Off in the distance, other lands. I've tried various frames that would put my work behind glass and protect it more, but those just don't seem to give me the same feeling of being in the picture. So I stick with my naked frames.
Most of the pebbles I collect are from our local lakes here in Northern MN. I bring them home and sort, sort, sort and fill plastic plates with colors, sizes, shapes and, of course, lots of heads and legs.
A simple 5.5 x 7.5 frame of black composite material with a black mat. No glass.
